Our Story!
Ann van der Heyden & her late husband John immigrated from Holland in the early 80s to farm. They began button mushroom farming and later diversified into asparagus & market gardening!
Their four daughters have all enjoyed spending summers working on the farm! Ann now continues the farm with the next generation: youngest daughter Nicole & her husband Jeremy.
How we Farm
Wooler Dale Farm has been organic for 20 years. We only use farm practices that are sustainable and safe.
No synthetic pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers & No GMOs.
Our way of farming is simple. We use compost to feed the living soil, which feeds the plants, and in turn produces the most nutrient-dense, sweet & flavourful veggies.

The way vegetables are supposed to taste.
